What "more than bean counters" means
We're data analysts, business strategists, and warriors who fight for our clients. Translating that out of marketing-speak: we don't just record what already happened in QuickBooks. We model what's about to happen, and we keep adjusting the model until the year ends the way it should.
That requires a different operating model than a typical CPA firm. A smaller client roster. Year-round engagement. Quarterly check-ins by default. A real CPA picking up the phone Mon–Fri 8:30–5. No portal-only support. No phone trees. No surprise invoices.
Who we work with
Family-owned businesses and growth-minded entrepreneurs across Northeast Indiana: manufacturing, trades, logistics, independent healthcare practices, professional services. Most of our clients are S-corps with $500k–$10M revenue, owner-operators who care about the long game, and family businesses preparing for the next generation or the next chapter.
We're selective by design. We pick clients we can actually move the needle for, and we're honest when we're not the right fit. The 15-minute scoping call exists for that reason.
Where we sit
Downtown Fort Wayne, at 501 E Brackenridge Street, two blocks south of the Civic Center. We work with businesses across Allen, Huntington, DeKalb, Whitley, and Wells counties most often, plus Indiana businesses statewide via video. Some clients we've never met in person; some we see weekly. The relationship dictates the rhythm.
Our mission
To provide value to our clients by helping them make an informed decision through timely and competent professional advice. That sentence is older than the website. It still holds up.
